Last week, the JDRC had a meeting with BLS and the BLSA. During that meeting it was established that both BLS and the BLSA officially support our endeavor to create a Joan Duran commemoration and scholarship. Boston Latin School fully supports our efforts to officially commemorate Joan Duran in the halls of our Alma Mater.
Recently, we have been alerted to the fact that there may have been some public misunderstandings of our relationship with Boston Latin School and the Boston Latin School Association. We want to make it clear that we have established a collaborative relationship between BLS, the BLSA, and the JDRC toward honoring Joan. Please join the JDRC, BLS, and the BLSA in our collective efforts to commemorate our fallen Alumnus.
